Wine and Cheese Appreciation evening
Join Jacques for an evening of wine and cheese appreciation.
Jacques has enjoyed travelling through the wine and cheese regions of Europe on a voyage of discovery gaining knowledge and appreciation along the way.
He now invites you for an informal evening of wine and cheese sampling.There will be six wines and six cheeses specially selected to compliment each other.
Jacques will give you his thoughts and opinions of each cheese and wine and there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone present to join in and give their own verdict on the wine and cheese selection.
This will be a friendly, relaxed, informal evening enjoying wine and cheese amongst new friends, followed by coffee to conclude the evening.
This is a ticket in advance only event.

The Estuary Band
Back by popular demand - our local band performing free in aid of the village hall roof replacement fund.
Expect a wide-range of rock/pop/folk material played in their own unique and interesting way through both a male and female lead vocalists and accompanied by a range of acoustic / electric instruments including guitar, mandolin and a variety of percussive instruments.
The Estuary Band now consists of Jules Jones - vocals ; Colin Shorthouse - vocals & acoustic guitar ; Phil Swann - acoustic / electric guitar, mandolin & backing vocals; Martyn Hillstead - percussion & backing vocals.

Films are shown on the first Friday of each month either at Combeinteignhead during the summer or at Stokeinteignhead during the winter. films start playing at 7:30pm
First timers will need to become members (£10 per year)
Both halls have a Licenced Bar.

Bookable Services
You can book the entire site or choose from one of two rooms . The rooms are known as the Main Hall and the Whiteaway room. Each option provides a slightly different set of facilities.
Wedding Hire: £800
The entire site is booked from Fri 1:00pm through to Sun 12:00 noon. Bar will be available on Sat 1:00pm to 11:00pm. To request more information and arrange a viewing/booking please contact us on cvillagehall@gmail.com.
